Chișinău, October 26, 2023 – The Central Union of Consumer Cooperatives of the Republic of Moldova (Moldcoop) recently held an off-site Executive Board meeting, carried out across several commercial units in the Telenești and Soroca districts.

The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the activity of the commercial network, production, and public catering units, as well as to identify opportunities for modernization and development. The Executive Board members discussed the implementation of the 2025–2030 development strategy, focusing on service diversification, product quality improvement, and strengthening cooperation between territorial cooperatives.

During the field visits, board members toured COOP stores, bakeries, and supply centers, where they analyzed current performance, challenges faced by cooperatives, and potential solutions for enhancing commercial processes. Special emphasis was placed on service digitalization and encouraging young people to engage in cooperative activities.

Through this initiative, Moldcoop reaffirms its commitment to staying close to local communities, supporting sustainable trade that is modern and adapted to the needs of consumers.
