Moldcoop Executive Board Meeting on the Road – Ecaterinovca, Slobozia Mare, and Giurgiulești

The Central Union of Consumer Cooperatives of the Republic of Moldova (Moldcoop) recently held its Executive Board meeting on the road, with sessions hosted in the villages Ecaterinovca (Cimișlia district), Slobozia Mare and Giurgiulești (Cahul district).

This initiative reflects Moldcoop’s ongoing commitment to maintaining close dialogue with consumer cooperatives from the territory and to directly assessing commercial and social activities carried out in local communities.

On this occasion, a new COOP store was inaugurated in Ecaterinovca, marking an important step in strengthening local commercial infrastructure and enhancing services provided to consumers in the region. The new store is not only an economic investment but also a demonstration of Moldcoop’s mission to support rural communities by creating jobs, ensuring access to quality products, and fostering the cooperative spirit.

During the visit, the Executive Board members discussed the development prospects of cooperatives in the southern part of the country, with a strong focus on diversifying commercial activities and adapting them to the evolving needs of modern consumers.
